Dr. Gary Strickland is the proud owner of Sylmar Vision Center. He has practiced full scope optometry for 13 years and loves making people smile while delivering great eye care. He originally grew up in New Jersey where he studied biochemistry and then attended Salus University in Pennsylvania for optometry school. After 4 years of practicing in New Jersey, he made the trek to California in 2013, which he now calls home.
His passions outside of work include the beach, traveling, and spending time with his family and his 2-year-old golden retriever, Tucker. His fun-loving attitude and desire to always improve are why we are so happy to have him at SVC.
